Bay Colony

A Waterfront Neighborhood

Whether you choose a brick ranch with a pool in the "pea patch" or an elegant waterfront estate with views of Crystal Lake or Linkhorn Bay, Bay Colony is an ocean-side favorite with lush lawns, old-growth trees, and a street grid that allows you to exercise for miles without leaving the neighborhood.  You'll be only a short bike ride or golf cart away from the beach, down 47th street, otherwise known as Bay Colony drive. There is a popular surf break right off 46th street.  Bay Colony has an active civic league that organizes many popular annual events like the 4th of July Parade and the Labor Day picnic. The Bay Colony Garden Club is one of the oldest in the area.

Bay Colony is steeped in local history. You can read more about Spanish explorers, Chesapeake Indians and famous neighborhood residents like Alan Shephard here
